Before I start with my questions, I must say that it's too bad that this laptop has some strange modifications that make it misbehave compared to other laptops. E.g.:
    • Can't change screen brightness unless I have the ControlCenter open. That's a Windows feature, not a Gigabyte feature. You can change it on the right side in the Action Center but that's not how I'm used to switching in any laptop in the past 15 years.
    • We really need the ability to switch between discrete and optimus GPU! Or at least Gigabyte should increase the TDP to 130w+ for the 3080. Makes no sense to have a thick case and proper cooling for a "105w", same as their thinner laptops. They can keep the CPU as is.
I uninstalled the Azure AI as it's just too random and I am unsure if it helps. I'll retry it later.

    My questions:
    1.
How to change screen brightness if ControlCenter is fully closed? This is pretty important. What's amusingly odd is that if ControlCenter isn't installed, you can't change brightness unless you use the Action Center.
    2. Any one know how to disable OSD for certain functions only, like volume change? No need to have Gigabyte's volume change when Windows has its own. I like the other OSDs though.
    3. How to unlock BIOS to get undervolt? This laptop actually runs a bit hot. I don't believe reviews that say it doesn't or that the fans are quiet. It's hot and yet power limited. I can't imagine how it will be with higher TDP for CPU and GPU.
EDIT: 4. How to get ControlCenter to show up in the taskbar when opened? Meaning, to show it as a normal program along other opened programs. Now when it's opened, it doesn't show up but it's always in the background. Frustrating.

    Thanks!

EDIT: Bought it on eBay at a good price, cannot return.
If someone wants it, it's yours for 2550 USD + shipping.

    1) you should just return the laptop if you are having so many issues with it and are not pleased.

    2) The guide right on the top of these forums have the full instructions on how to use NVFLASH to flash the BIOS

Guide: Enable nVIDIA Resizable BAR on the AERO 15

I tried your vbios and I think it gave me lower performance.
I re-flashed mine and had higher FPS. I put mine online if anyone needs it (no resizable bar, which could be why I get higher FPS, unsure): https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/232970/232970
Hopefully someone from Asus or elsewhere with an RTX 3080 8GB can post their vbios for us to test (with a higher than 105w TDP).

I edited my message significantly and removed things that I fixed.
