    Just got my 15G XC 3070 laptop and im just curious is it possible to unlock the bios to obtain undervolting? Thermals are not bad but it would be cool to get even more performance out of this thing

    @seba84_2005 do you remember what you did exactly? He told me i have to unlock my bios from 0x17 to 0x0 could you help guide me a bit on that?

    Nope. I got dump without any errors. Just use this commends: fptw64.exe -bios -d biosname.bin or rom what you want.

    @seba84_2005 hey so i actually managed to get the bios unlocked have have undervolting enabled. Do you know what setting in the bios i need to use to get memory to 3200mhz? could you show me yours?

    For now I use stock bios. I unlocked for testing purposes only.

    Fair enough. Just finished all of my modifications. Got undervolting and 3200mhz ram working just fine. Its very great

    i have flashed bios many times on all other types of PCs laptops included , but did it through the bios i have a Aorus 15G YC(3080) and would love
    to flash the bios to enable my ram to run at the correct speed, and to undervolt slightly does any one have a unlocked bios (my MSI had a hidden bios which i enabled by pressing some combo of key presses but cannot find anything for the Aorus)

    well i got it working flashed the bios to a modded on , but cannot figure how to do the undervolt there so i used throttlestop it worked fine yesterday but today the adustable voltage part is blanked out , maybe these cpus cannot be undervolted i cannot get it to wrk now any way

    Isn't that a 10th Gen Intel? I thought those only go up to 2933mhz?

    mine runs at 3200mhz in the bios change the memory from default to custom (or vice versa) that changed it on mine
    well it runs at 1597mhz according to CPU-Z

    Good day to you guys. I have the gigabyte aorus 15g WB and it runs quite hot. Easily hit 90 degrees Celsius within a minute of gaming. I tried undervolting but it has a locked bios. Can anyone help me with a guide on how to unlock thy bios so I can get an undervolt and bring down the temperatures? Thank you
