    Hi!

    I just bought a new Aorus 15-X9-RT4BD https://store.gigabyte.us/aorus-15-...tb-win10-15-6-fhd-lg-ips-144hz-gaming-laptop/

    I also bought a Samsung 970 evo 1TB m.2 NVMe SSD (MZ-V7E1T0BW) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BN217QG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Here’s what I’d like to do when I get it:

    1) Swap the existing 512GB SSD to the second M.2 slot

    2) Install my new (faster) 1TB Samsung 970 evo into the primary m.2 slot.

    3) To save a bit of energy and weight, I’d like to delete the 2.5” 2tb drive.*

(* I know some would recommend against this, but the m.2 drives usually don’t fail all at once - this would give me time to backup if need be.)

    4) install a clean version of windows 10, the necessary drivers and enjoy the laptop.

    On to my question:

Is there anything I need to do to the existing HD’s on this brand new computer before I move the m.2 and delete the 2.5” drive? I’ll be installing a clean version of windows 10, and don’t have anything that I need to save on the laptop.

    Thank you in advance!
