Extensive efforts to find a replacement GPU fan have not paid off.

Model: FCN (Forcecon) FF55 - the distinguishing number. Searches yield NOTHING. Frustrating that there's such a rare fan in a relatively recent laptop.

DFS400705PU0T - not the distinguishing model number; bought a fan with this number, knowing it wouldn't fit perfectly, rewired it with the old power clip, did not behave properly (erratic full blast, which is very loud)

The U2442 fan looks completely different. If anyone has an old U24, I'd love to buy the fans from it.

Btw: Gigabyte told me to mail it to them for a bunch of money. I countered. Then they told me it's actually end of life so they couldn't have helped me anyway.
