    Hello everyone,

As you can tell by the title, I'm trying to find out the refresh rate of the P35x v4's 3K screen.

I've tried contacting Gigabyte directly and looking all over Google, but I haven't been able to find the answer.

I currently have one on the way, but I was seeing that the 4K models of the MSI GS60 (the other laptop I was considering) were running at a refresh rate of 48kHz. If this is the case with the 3K screen being used with the P35x, I would probably prefer the FHD screen instead.

Any and all help/info is appreciated.

    Thanks!

I can almost assure you that it is no higher than 60Hz due to the fact that it is 3K. I have a P35X v4 on the way as well, but the 1080p edition. Mostly because I couldn't find the 3K edition in stock, and I'm traveling so I have a deadline to meet. But if we think about it, 1080p on 15.6" will be perfectly fine and games will obviously run at higher FPS at FHD than WQHD. Back to the refresh rate, the 1080p panel might come in higher refresh rate, but don't quote me on that, they're both IPS and 1080p panels tend to come in 120Hz or 144Hz nowadays with 4k and such not being able to go beyond 60Hz due to Displayport 1.2 limitations.

Again, don't quote me, just adding my 2ยข.

The 3k V3 is 60 hz. I can't imagine that they changed it on the V4.
