Anyone else having a hard time choosing between the Aero 14 and the Aero 15?

So not too too long ago I picked up an Aero 14. I was in the market for a new laptop and honestly the Aero 14 check off all the important boxes but left a bit of room for improvement. Fast forward about two months and out comes the Aero 15 which is like the Aero 14+. And given how popular the 14 was and how fast it sold I picked one up soon as it was available and decided I was just going to sell the Aero 14 soon as I put the 15 through its paces.

Well its been a week and some change and I'm in a position I didn't think I'd be in. I figured if the 15 didn't have any issues that it would be a no-brainer to keep it. But I'm still unsure which I would like to keep. One of the main things, which I NEVER expected to be a thing is the lack of a 180 degree hinge. Having the 14 for a while I got used to laying around with it fully extended or sitting down and just opening it up to hold it like one would hold a newspaper. There are just so many positions that I've already gotten used to holding the 14 in that when I got my Aero 15 and tried to push the screen back I almost broke the display thinking it was just like the 14 and had a 180 degree.

Needless to say I was disappointed.

I mean I love just about everything else about the Aero 15. I like the second m.2 bay. I like the bigger and brighter screen. (Though I do prefer the sharpness and slightly better viewing angles on the 14.) And though I don't use any TB3 dependent technology, its nice to have as a bit of "future proofing" as the kids these days like to say. And while they are both close the 15 does run a bit cooler. They keyboards are even to me, I really find myself enjoying the macro keys on the 14 but the overall ability to customize on the 15 is a great tool along with the numpad. The colors are nice but not my cup of tea but it is nice icing to add to the cake should the fancy find me.

I mean from an objective perspective I never expected the 180 degree hinge to be such a pivotal factor. But with the slightly but still noticeably lighter weight and all the options such a wide range of motion offers the Aero 14 really is just a joy to use when being held or even laying around. I just don't know whether that added comfort is worth the added features of the Aero 15.

At this juncture I'm slightly leaning towards the Aero 14. But curious anyone else either have both or are waivering between the two?

Both these models are on my "If my current portable solution fails tomorrow" list, probably would lean towards the 14 because of the physical size. Never considered the open angle issue, but that's probably because what currently occupies that function is a tablet with a detachable keyboard.

My vote goes towards the 15.6" - it runs substantially cooler than the 14" and also has more screen space for work and gaming.
