    Hey guys,

I bought a XMG C404 from MySN that's based on this model of laptop as I understand it. I'm trying to find an alternative power brick that's smaller and a bit lighter than the big brick one I've got that came with the laptop. I've googled around, and can't find anything to point me in the right direction. The MySN website no longer lists the XMG C404 as it's been replaced by a newer model (understandable!). Can anyone help?

The Razer Blade powersupply worked on the V3 version if I recall correctly.

Thank you! I'll have a look around and try and source one. Would I be just as good looking for a power supply that matches the voltage / amp rating on my current one?

I have also been looking into getting a smaller power brick for my P34.

I think there was some discussion in the main P34 owner's lounge thread about some 3rd party bricks with a lower voltage. It seemed like it was okay to have lower voltage, but it would just charge slower.

I am thinking of getting the Dell XPS15's power brick and just modding the tip to the correct size. From what I found it's the smallest brick with almost as much wattage that isn't as expensive as the razer's, which is I think $120.

I saw that thread, and picked up the Innergie 95W M Cube Slim Adapter from Amazon for £35. It arrived yesterday and all seems well. It charged my P34G from 92% to 98% in 15mins, so comparable performance. It's also significantly lighter and smaller than the brick it comes with. Give me about a month with it and I'll be in a better position to recommend, however for now I'm happy enough with it.

Yeah I thought that, however it won't be under load when I'm using it at university as it'll just be typing / web browsing. Keeping the bigger brick for when I game at home

Are you still happy with the power brick? Also have you tried undervolting your CPU? I was thinking maybe that would decrease the amount of battery drain.

Hello! Yes I am very happy with it. I bought a replacement figure 8 power cord for the brick as it came with a US adapter, and it works like a charm. No issues with charge time, or with any battery damage so far*

    *touch wood!

Overall I'd recommmend it as an alternative if you don't want to shell out for the razer blade one.

I've also use the same adapter for the last 2 years just so I don't have to take the original PSU back and forth to the office,
