    Hello all

I just had delivered yesterday my new aero 15 oled 11th gen (xd)! Yay! I have a few questions and would also like to help if I could.

    1) If anyone wants my 3070 vbios Im happy to share it if you tell me how to copy it and where to upload it. Resizable bar yes.

    2) I believe that I cannot undervolt this laptop due to plundervolt mitigations implemented by intel and manufacturers. The only work around is to get an unlocked bios to allow undervolting?

    3) A big part of my purchase was to get a hold of a 3070 for gaming and an oled 4k screen for content consumption in a laptop. To make the most of the 3070 I have the following settings.
    3a) gigabyte control centre
    Under AI: AI -Off
Under Manager: Power mode High Performance
3b) Power Plan: Smartmanager High performance

Do the above settings get me 105 watts to my 3070?

Will I need to PL2 the i7-11800h at 70 watts to insure I always get the 105 watts on my 3070?

With thanks for any assistance offered.

    Cheers

Hello: I am interested in the same model vs the Aero 17.
How do you like the laptop so far? Any worries about OLED burn in and low brightness?
I am wondering if 15.6 inches are too small for 4K or if the 17.3 inch screen non-OLED would be better.

Samsung OLED screen don't suffer from screen burn-in, it's the LG panels that do so you're safe.

Although this is a 15 inch laptop, it has minimal bezels so it feels like a 16 inch in terms of screen real estate.

The default Windows DPI scaling is 250% so it's ok even if its 15 inches.

also heared that the amoled of the 15 is superior to the 17 hdr display. that's why I took the aero oled 15xc instead of the 17, however i've never seen the differences myself. trusted the press here

the amoled display is amazing though!
