I'm about to buy either the 15 or 15x but I'm not sure if I should get an extended warranty or not. I cannot seem to find anything on what Gigabyte's 2 year warranty actually covers. If it is half way decent this might actually push me towards buying the 15x since I'd be saving over $200.

Anyone have any experience using their warranty for a laptop?

its 2, for me instead of paying extra money for that, I called my rental insurance which is USAA, I tacked on computer insurance for $3 a month. I had a hose bust on a 980ti sli machine back in the day and paid $100 for the co-pay but they cut me a check for $2800 for the rest of the stuff.
