Not sure if anyone has experienced the same issue, my current config is laptop connected to external monitor directly to the dedicated GPU using the thunderbolt with displayport 1.4

On connection the monitor seems to be working fine, but after putting the laptop to sleep and waking up, the monitor never wakes up. Presumably it is because by default the laptop starts by using intel GPU and I have to unplug and plug it back again for windows to pick up the external GPU again.

Monitor I'm using: Acer Nitro VG270UP - 144Hz, Freesync - if that makes any difference.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
