I want to watch full screen videos on CNN or IGN or Yahoo Music but I CAN'T! It drives me nuts. Every time the video maxes out my cpu and the video stutters. Does this happen with you guys? Youtube is better now, my roommate told me they shortened the code or something... idk. But HD video on youtube plays fine.. but the video stutters on full screen with every other site.

Does this happen to you guys?

Ya it did. It uses half the cpu it used to.

What does the accelerator do? I don't notice any difference in quality.

I should say its something Adobe has to fix. In future with the newer version of flash just enable and see if it works else leave it disabled. Why bother if you dont see any dip in performance of any kind.

Okay, I'm my school play some basketball on espn and it IS the powermizer. I turned it off and even with hardware acceleration on the video used 25% cpu as compared to 100% cpu. I still have no idea what hardware acceleration does though.

    Go Illini! lol

I have the latest official nvidia driver? Does dox have powermizer built in? I'm currently using the side .exe that someone here developed.

The .exe doesn't work for me. I saw on the forum that other people are having problems with it too. The driver is 195.62. I want to try it because dox is usually slightly faster than stock drivers.

Nvm got it to work. No performance gain from nvidia 195.62

    Thanks for the suggestion though.
