    Softmod 8800M GTS to quadro

    Ok I do mostly working on my 6831Fx. I want to run a Adobe Premiere Plugin but its needs a Quadro card is there anyway to softmod my GPU. Desktop I could with RivaTuner but on the laptop its missing the icon in rivatuner.

    You could try flashing the Quadro's vBIOS into the 8800GTS using nBitor and then using a Quadro Driver... but honestly i think its going to brick your laptop instead of working.

    You are welcome to try, but understand that you might end up with a nice paper weight once you're done (that is actually the most likely thing to happen)

    If you do professional work on a laptop, the best bet honestly would be to get a good workstation with a Quadro card in it. While similar in power the card and the drivers are much better suited to your needs in this situation.
