    One cannot OC the T9300.

    One can OC the X7800.

    Am I correct?

    but...

is it better than the T9300?

i'm assuming so, if the X7800 is overclocked..

In terms of clock speeds, yes. The t9300 runs cooler, has more l2 cache and i believe it's a 45nm chip.

Yes, but the same applies to the t9300 as well. The wattage on the x chip is just higher.

If you think you can keep your notebook stable at 3.0 ghz then i'd go for the x7800, otherwise the 9300 is a better chip.
