    Hi,

A friend recently gave me his old mt3707. The cores heat up 70C and it sounds like a jet engine. There seems to be a lot of dust inside the machine, so Id like to clean it out and see if I can get it working normally again. Does anyone know how to take this thing apart to access the heatsink and fan? I removed all the screws on the bottom, but the palmrest wont come off. Thanks.

ran into the same problem myself - but the overheating is actually causing the laptop to shut down after about 1 hr of use. and i am also unable to get this open after removing all the screws. i can pull part of the palmrest off but cant go any further without feeling like i'm going to break it. i really need to clean the heatsink as the laptop has become unusable.
