Bought a 256G solid state drive and ran into issues. Here's the steps

    - used Windows to create a backup image to a USB drive (worked)
    - created a windows recovery CD
    - replaced stock hard drive with solid state hard drive
    - booted off recovery CD and told it i wanted to do a restore
    - recovery CD saw the image on the USB drive but at this point it did not see the solid state drive so it couldn't recover it

So after this i verified that BIOS could see the drive

I also called Fujitsu and their only help was they said the computer specs only support 128G SS drive <-- this makes zero sense to me as it should look no different that a normal hard drive.

    Any thoughts?

Solution found - i bought Acronis to do the backup/restore (vs. the built in Microsoft one) and all worked fine.
