I went to yahoo, typed in screen protector (not the sheild kind) but the kind like plastic that goes over your screen. my laptop seems to attract alot of dust and lint on the screen looks real nasty and hard to clean.
Anyone know where I can find this? or maybe I am searching for it wrong?

You wouldn't to stick any plastic thing on your screen. The best is get a microfiber cloth...

Is it rec. to get one of those microfiber or other screen protectors for transport, or is that unnecessary overkill? The machine will be going back and forth to school, in a case with books, etc.

Putting somthing that sticks to your screen on is just a bad idea. Plus it will distort your images and wash out the brightness. If you're concerned about screen rub, lay the microfiber in beteween, but Fujitsu hasn't had that problem in a while.
