    how many times can you switch RAM until the socket done for?

    Out of curiosity:
    can anybody guesstimate how many times you can plug and unplug RAM module into the socket until the socket finally says "NO MORE!"?

    The reason I'm wondering about this is because, as I mentioned on my previous post below, I recently bought 2 generic brand RAMs that won't work with each other. I've performed many combination of RAM installation, mixing with the original RAM etc. and now socket #2 on my N6010 seem to be non-responsive.

    Looks like warranty service is the new year present from my fujitsu.
    O yeah, I think I might also busted one of the original RAM too. Hopefully the warranty covers that........ :mad:

    It should support several hundred switches, it's actually harder on the RAM chip I think.
