    how do i install ram into amilo pro v2010?

    i looked underneath and there are no bays but lots of screws but it doesnt seem to want to come apart. any ideas or websites i can visit to find the info?

    Fujitsu's manuals are very good about showing this.

    manual just says, MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY AUTHORISED DEALERS

    You don't access it from below but from above. More painful than most. Involves getting under the keyboard - prise the piece between the keyboard and the screen up and you can remove the keyboard. You can do the same thing on Dells I gather.

    There is definately an engineer's pdf that shows exactly step-by-step how to do it cause I read it a month or so ago. Erm. Suppose I could make a basic effort to find it now :)

    Ok, that was much harder to find than I would have thought necessary...

    Use a static strap and really watch the screw positions - every one must be put back where you found it!
    Might do this myself cause I hate the fan on this model - I wonder can mod it :p

    cheers for all your help. got it sorted now. keyboard panel is not as flat as it used to be but i can still type!!
