    fujitsu Amelo D7830 need help

    gys .... i need help my fujitsu Amelo D7830 is dead when i put the charger connector on the labtop nothing hapens no led is lithing nothing hapens when i push the power button its not working

    i know my battery is dead befor this hapend but what i need to know is that :
    if i removed the battery from the labtop and connect the charger connector and connect it to the power is it possible to run the labtop on the external power supply without the battery ?
    cause i needto know whay my labtop is not running is it because of the baterry or ther is another dameg?
    note: pleas dont tell me to contact the service center cause i am an iraqi and live in iraq and there is nothing like this here

    You can run your notebook of the AC adapter, without the battery. Just make sure you take the battery out, and then turn the notebook on with the AC adapter in. Don't take the battery out, when the notebook is running.

    If nothing happens when you power up the notebook, then either you have a problem with some of the internals (possibly the motherboard), or you have a problem with the battery connecter. In either case, when you connect it directly to your AC adapter, you should be able to eliminate the second option, provided your noteook starts up. Hope this helps.

    I think i understand what you are trying to ask: If the power board in the notebook could be damaged. Well, yes it could be damaged, If that is the case, then what also could have happened, is that when it became damaged, it may have sent out a lethal current to the other components in your notebook. If that is the case, then the processor and motherboard may have become damaged.

    Check the output from the power supply before looking for something more serious. A test meter is needed & don't forget the output is d.c!
