Hi all, as you know I have just returned from a trip to Hong Kong and brought back a P7010 laptop that I purchased there. As you all know the cord that plugs into the wall outlet is different than the one avail here. What I need to know from those of you that have a P7010 purchased here in North America is your cord that plugs into the wall outlet does it have 3 prongs or 2? The end that plugs into the charger which then plugs into the laptop is it a figure 8 type of end or does it have 3 ends with the end in the middle higher than the 2 other ends?

I may have to visit a Fujitsu dealer here to get the proper cord if you guys have a 3 prong plug on your NA model P-series, however if it is only a 2 prong plug I'm good to go since I have one that I can use from my digital camera charger.

Please let me know ASAP so that I may be able to start using my 7010 later tonight if I don't have to worry about the 3 prong cord. Thanks.

If your AC adapter is the same as mine, FPCAC37, it is rated for 100-240V 50-60Hz. It takes a two-prong, "figure 8" plug. If you have the same adapter you should be able to just plug it in to 120 VAC. The cord on mine has a two-prong plug, without the grounding pin.

Thank you so much!!!!! [ :D] I just checked my AC adapter and it is exactly as you described with the same part #. I will be able to use the cord from my digital camera charger with this AC adapter.

Time to get this 7010 fired up and working after I set up all my files and programs on it. WOOHOO!!! After I get it going I'll report here. :)
