    Hi, all:

i have a amilo pi1505 which has 60G disk, it's now pretty full after 6 months usage (games, videos.... :p ).

So, I guess its time to find a bigger one to replace it ( i've checked some sites, a 100G SATA 2.5" disk will be around $100). But I'm not sure which disk i will go for:
    here is question:

Any 2.5" SATA disk fit for this notebook or not?

one of my friends tell me 2.5" disks have various sizes for different laotops, is it true?

Now, i have totally no idea about the replacement.....

thanks a lot if any reply :D :D

    Welcome to NBR. :)

Any 2.5" SATA hard disk should work for the notebook. Don't worry about upgrading the hard disk. The procedure is very simple for most Amilo notebooks. Some newer hard disks have a height of more than the standard 9.5mm, which could cause problems in some notebooks. Just make sure that the hard disk you select has a height of 9.5mm. That way, it is guranteed to fit.
