I just got home with my N6220. The salesman at the store said that it could be set to Raid 0. That would involve re-installing the O.S. and re-formatting the hard drives. He said I would get the discs with the machine. I've done this with my Raid capable desktop machines, and with two disc drives already installed, should be no problem with the N6220. But, when I got home, it didn't include a full WinXP OS disc, only a restore disc. I'm currently researching how I can install the O.S. from scratch. I have WinXP from my old laptop, so I could try that. But it is a 2-year old OS version. Before I take that route, I'll see if it can be done with the discs that came with the machine. More likely than not, the old WinXP O.S. discs wouldn't have the necessary drivers. The early RAID 0 machines I had required special drivers to utilize RAID 0. Maybe motherboard RAID 0 is now supported and standardized with newer machines, I don't know for sure.
