    Hello all,

A while ago I reported here a problem on my Fujitsu-Siemens S6210 main battery here. I haven't been able to solve it since.

I connected my laptop to AC power yesterday after not having used it for 2 days, and the main battery was fully discharged. It showed the normal "charging" icon for a while, but never charged anything (the battery always reported 0% charge). After about 30 minutes, the icon changed to the one on the image below (it's the icon for battery 1, battery 2 is the modular battery and it's working fine), and Windows reports the battery as 0% charged and discharging. Even after more than 24 hours, this does not change anymore.

I have never seen this icon before. Does anyone here know what the icon is?

The manual for my E8410 states that it indicates that the battery cannot be charged properly (see attachment). Given the earlier issues you've been having, perhaps it's just dead?

Yeah, I had the feeling that would be the case. That's unfortunate :(

    Thanks for the help.
