Does anyone know if the Fujitsu warranty's are transferable?

I plan on selling this N3510 of mine.

It has about two years worth of warranty coverage, and some on-site service left.

    Thanks for any info.

Only the original first year of warranty is transferrable. Any extended warranty purchased is not. I confirmed this by contacting a Fujitsu rep with the same question. I don't know why that is since you paid good money for it just like the notebook, but.....

Another reason to never buy another Fujitsu.

I paid good money for that added protection, as I know I would need it after so many issues. Now I am stuck with it, unless I work around it. I can simply sell it, and have the buyer send it to me so I can exercise the warranty on their behalf.

Well, I'm not sure I'd go as far as to say that far, lol. We haven't had a lick of trouble with the N3530 (knock on wood) I gave to my son after I got my SZ120. But it does blow. Here is a transcript of the reply I got from Fujitsu support:

    "Dear John,

As per our last contact, the service contract on the notebook is
transferable but only the 1st year. Any additional years of service
contract bought by your self can not be transferred.

    Sincerely,

Yes, but my N3510 has spent most of it's life in the mail.

What has been wrong with your notebook, and who did you buy it from originally (what store)?

see if they will refund the warranty pro-rated amount.
