I would like to upgrade my standard 512 ram to 1 gb. What type/speed is best for this laptop?

I see fujitsu's web site states that the N6110 comes with 512 MB DDR2 SDRAM memory, 533 MHz (256 MB x 2), is there anything else I need to look for when buying the ram?

You should make sure it is PC2 4200 i believe, and SODIMM, but any site you look at will show you pretty well

do you have 2 256MB or 1 512mb? I had 2 256mb in my N6210 and i just got a stick of Corsair, 1gb stick to go along with my other 256mb which i will eventually replace with another stick of the same Corsair 1gb, which by the way keeps getting cheaper and cheaper.

    i recommend newegg.com

this should make it easier, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...ce=&MaxPrice=&SubCategory=381&Submit=Property
