Has anyone had any problem with their fujitsu S series where the keys scratched the screen somehow. Is something like this really needed?

I wonder if it's related to how Fujitsu manufactures their laptops?? I have a P7xxx and have noticed similar complaints. On my own machine, I don't see any marks on the screen, but do notice marks (consistent with the keyboard) on the bottom portion of the LCD face-plate.

Anyway, save your money!!! You can go to any grocery or hardware store and pick up a microfiber cloth for around $3. Just place that between the keyboard and screen and away you go.

Screen rub is an issue with every notebook I've ever owned. I think it's silly not to spend a few dollars to protect your display. With these cloths, you also get a nice cleaning tool as well. I love mine...

It's always better to get a screen protector then not have one. Paying $1500 or more is a big investment as I see it. Buying a $20 cloth that will protect my screen is better no protection at all.
