    no display on the screen and fan does not stop spinning! help!

    OK! Yesterday the kbd and mouse got locked up. I did a hard shut down and restart. i was able to enter my password and login. once the desktop came up, again kbd and mouse locked up. One more hard shutdown. Now when i turn it on, the fan comes on loudly and does not stop spinning. Nothing comes on the screen. not sure what the deal is!

    it was a motherboard defect! got it fixed! life's back on track! 2 days w/o lappy dear is horrible! aaaaaaaaaaaa!
