Is there ANY difference between these two models other than the Atheros wireless card? If the prices are the same on P1, should I go for the S7000D?

Also, how is the heat dissipation/fan on the s7000 series? From what I read, it's the only complaint about it. Any others?

    Thanks and Regards.

    There are no other differences.

A friend of mine has the S7000 series and his only complaint is that it does get a bit warm on his lap when he is actively using the CPU. Otherwise, he loves it.

I'd get the D, it supports 108 mbps connections with appropriate wireless routers.
