My noebook is about 1.5 years old, and hte battery seems to be reaching the end of its life (only about 70 minute run time, used to be 3+ hours). Couple of questions

    1) i can't seem to find any genuine fujitsu batteries. How do the aftermarket ones perform. I'd like it to last as long as a real fujitsu battery as that is one of the reasons i bought this computer (3.5+ hours run time)

    2) What is the consensus on removing the battery when using the laptop as a desktop replacement? Will this reduce the life of hte battery since it is continually discharging/charging?

    3) Who sells the additional battery that can beput in the CD drive area?

    thanks
    jason

You can get both batteries on Fujitsu's website. I personally would not take the battery out.

thanks Zaz. Do you have any feelings on non-OEM batteries?

I would buy a Fujitsu battery.
