    Hi,

I saw a price drop of the S6120d for $1350 but it only has 256MB of RAM.

What kind of memory does this machine use and is it hard to upgrade the memory?

    Thanks.

That model uses DDR 266 so-DIMM, 200 pin SDRAM and yes, it's very easy to install yourself. Adding memory is perhaps the easiest computer upgrade around. There are two slots, one will be used by the 256, the other you can add.

newegg.com. Is that a good price?

I also saw a Thinkpad T40 for about the same price but with more RAM and a 3-yr warranty. The rest of the specs are about the same so I cannnot make up my mind.

Not much different than the price on the Fujitsu site, actually, if it's the base model. I noticed that the 6120d has a 1 yr warranty on the U.S. site, but the specs for that model on the Canadian site show a three-yr warranty. Odd.
