    I'm still thinking b/w the 4200 and 5400. Battery's length is really important to me, so I don't know if the 5400 is "battery eater" or not?? ...

    Well think about it this way,

    4200 = more loading time = more time wasted
    5400 = a bit faster, less loading time = not as much wasted with minimal battery usage

    I'd go for the 5400rpm [:0]

    This is my first laptop ... I always love an IBM laptop ( because of its durability and performance ) ... but I can't afford one ... then I found this forum n I found Fujitsu ... the 2nd best laptop after IBM ...
    You guys are really experts in this area ... I've learnt alot from this forum ...

    The power sacrificed between 4200RPM, 5400RPM, and 7200RPM is so minimal that it shouldn't be a determining factor in what you get. And yup the faster the better [ :D]
