I have my Omnipass fingerprint screener and Windows set to automatically load the last (most recent) user's profile on re-boot without asking for fingerprint or password (I have none -- it's a computer at home, that only I use). It's a Lifebook E8210, BTW. It's worked fine for the last 2 years since I bought it, but now it's getting buggy; sometimes (but not always) when I reboot, I get a quick message that Windows doesn't know what user to load or something -- the messages flashes on the screen very quickly -- and then the fingerprint scanner pops up. Which would be fine, but even tho it identifies my fingerprint (it turns green for OK), it keeps re-loading the fingerprint scanner without letting me into windows or canceling when I push "cancel". The only way out is to do a "hard" shutdown (press the power button long enough) and reboot until Windows goes back to normal somehow and doesn't show the message or the fingerprint scanner.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Tammy

    Maybe re-install the software.
