Just bought it, plugged it in and started it for a first time.
When the progress bar for the inital setup reached ~70% it froze.
I then rebooted the notebook and the screen was dead - it hasn't shown anything since than - i tried booting it with/without CD - i don't even get to see the initial boot screen with F2/F12 message on it
Tried it with external monitor no success
    Please help me

If the system doesn't even post, check if any leds are on or blinking.
Next, you can try the following - unplug the power cord, remove the battery, press&hold the power button for 20sec, put back the battery, turn it on.
If it doesn't help, - find the user manual/maintenance guide for your model and get to the BIOS battery and unplug/remove it for half a minute, put it back and try booting again.
If nothing helps -> call support and get it replaced/refunded. Could be a dead motherboard, but that's the worst case.
    Good luck!
