My son's N3530 is starting to apparently wear through the paint where he typically places his hands on the palmrests (he plays WoW quite a bit after he finishes homework). Has anyone else that owns an N3530 experienced this?

It's quite common not just on the M353- but on almost all laptops. Given the heat generated and time spent play WOW, I'm sure it gets sweaty after awhile and so constant but slight movement couple with the sweat is bound to wear off the coating on the palmrests, probably more so the left than on the right.

You're right about it being more prevalent of the left than the right. Perhaps I'll inquire about Fujitsu replacing the upper housing and then try and put some kind of protective film or something over the top. It really bugs me because we've had it less than a year and you'd expect it to not wear that quickly. I guess that's at least one thing to actually like about my SZ - had it since April and doesn't show a bit of wear. :p

I'm having the same problem on my N3510 too. That's why I've bought myself a wireless keyboard and mice.
