    Hi,

Sorry to bother you, but what are the differences between the 5020 and 5010? I can't seem to tell. And what's the difference between the "D" model and the non-D? I found some pretty decent pricing at: http://www.infinitycameras.com

Anybody have any experience with them?

    Thanks,

    Nobbie[ :p]

P.S. I do a lot of writing for work (freelance advertising copywriting, monthly lifestyle column for magazine, and soon to be reviewing hardware for a fairly well-known online pub)and was wondering how much a hindrance the smaller punctuation keys are.[?]

The 5010 is the older model that runs a 900 MHz processor vs the 1GB in the 5020. There may be other subtle differences as well. As for the D, it refers to the non-centrino version that has the WiFi g option, this is the route I would recommend. As for buying from a camera shop, I'd advise against it. Either buy direct or online go to www.laptopsinc.com. Get the 3 year warranty for $100, it will delay ship date, but the wait is worthwhile.

Thanks for the clarification, Brian! Laptopsinc is pretty pricey, no? Plus, they're in CA as I am and will be charging sales tax! Ugh![ :(!] Hate sales tax.

Why not buy from a discount vendor? If the product is the same, it should be fine, no?

Also, why would purchasing the extended warranty delay shipping? It's not like they have to install or modify anything.

How's word processing on the P5020?

Laptopsinc is not pricey in my view. You can't be more than $100 different pre-tax...maybe I'm wrong. Their service is by far worth the investment, that's why I'd stay away from other discounters. Tax is a valid concern though, so do what seems best for you. As for the warranty, I found that Fujitsu ships the units they sell the extended warranty with. It took mine three weeks to get here die to high demand.

Word Processing is fine, I expected more difficulty from the keyboard, but I completely love this machine. It's jsut a perfect fit for my lifestyle.
