I assume you are talking about the P1500 Tablet. Hard to say withoug knowing the specs. I'd check out eBay see what simillarly equped models are going for.

Is it worth it? Well, hard to say given zero backround. Please consider giving us more to go on so we can help.

I would like an ultraportable for my classes next year. I would also use it as my home pc. So i use this to check emails/surf. Word processing. pretty much it. But i would like it to last 4years. I would use it as my primary note taking. What kinda battery life do you recommend in university?

6 hours is good enough in my opinion, actually its more than you will need, unless you will have it on all the time.
Unless you need touch screen capabilities, I would recommend you consider the fujitsu P7000, the IBM X3x (the X4x have slower HDDs), Asus Z33a (portable one UX), and the dell X1 and D410. (I am not crazy about the sony t series, especially the the P7000 fits into the same category, performs better, and costs less) -
I agree, the small size have even more compromises than the P7000 series, which would be a better option for you.

Here's the CNET video review on the P1510D :

When you see it next to someone it looks really small. I don't know how productive you can be on a machine that size, factoring in possible eye strain using it for considerably long periods of time.
It does come in a version with Windows Tablet Edition 2005.
The fact that's it's touch screen as well is a plus, I also like the finger print scanner.
But, the only downside is that it doesn't have an optical drive, unlike the 7000D.
That means you can't playback DVD's or back up data after that tiny 30GB hard drive starts to fill up.
I think if you need a tablet pc for taking notes and occasional web surfing this is a great choice.
Otherwise I would go with the 7000D or TX series because of the build in optical drives and they are just as light weight.
