I have three computers. One is running Windows 98, one is running Windows XP, and one has both Windows XP and Vista. What I have found is that the newer machine can run older systems while the older machines may need as much work to run new systems. They can all run "programs" for one system or another so be happy with what you have. The newer systems may have a drive that burns while the older one does not, however, if you are strapped for cash do not worry about it. All my systems can run 32-bit softwares, and I am happy with it. Do I lack the sophistication of today's higher processing power and resources? Yes. Do I want them? At times I feel like I need to go out and get them right away. My car is on the brink of breaking down. If I go out and buy something like that, I put myself at risk for being stranded on the road. So, I am lucky to be supported by everyone. I am happy with what I have. The lesson that I am getting to here is that you do with what you have. If you have a car that gets you from point A to point B, then you are better off than I am. So the same analogy goes for a computer. If it works, then you can usually upgrade, stay the same, or downgrade the operating system. You can make your current computer BE the dream machine that you have always wanted without spending anymore money. I have taken and combined all my operating systems and made use of all of them. When I first received a donation of a Windows 98 computer, I was so happy, but it didn't work. The hard drive was overflowing with partial installation of Windows XP. I found out that the space that XP requires is more than what the hard drive can hold. So I used the internet to download a legal version of the original Windows 98 that was supposed to be on there and after inputting the original key on the side of the case, it all works again. So it goes to show that you can possibly still make good use of your computer by doing a little work and research.

Well, first, I just want to thank God for everything! Okay, now, my reply: Come to think of it, I believe it is a reply to something that I have posted before and/or someone else has posted, but I do not know which posts. So, I hope you find it useful in any case!!! :) Happy Sunday!
