Fujitsu released another S-series notebook for asia pacific. The S7025 http://www.pc-ap.fujitsu.com/products/lb_s7025.html

The difference between S7021 and S7025 (Both offering SuperFine screens)

    1. S7025 now comes with dual layer dvd burner, the S7021 comes with CDRW/DVDrom
    2. S7025 has S3 Dedicated 64 mb Video Ram (nice, for a thin/slim line), the S7021 comes with shared intel 128mb
    3. S7025 doesn't have ExpressCard support (from the specs)
    5. S7025 has 100gb, S7021 has 80G
    4. And lesser battery life 3.5hrs, the S7021 has 4.3hrs.

The rest are pretty much the same. The only exterior I can see is the black mouse button, don't know if it's gonna make it look cheap or classy, have to see it in person. Will update again when I have a chance to see it.

In the end it all comes down to if you need dedicated graphics, I think it's nice fujitsu is offering a thin/slim w/ the dedicated graphic..

The new releases for the S series seem to be around the corner. A lot of online stores have the older models on blow out sales (down to as low as $1100 for the S6240), and Fujitsu are leaking the few remaining in their stock thru their Ebay store, they are selling them new in auctions!!!

So it cannot be long for the US market either. I wonder why the S series is always the last to be refreshed! They did the same last year.

EDIT: Why are they still releasing PMs rather than dore duo??? And why that GFX card, I bet the built intel is just as good! ... That is a weird release!

Its NOt a core duo I believe? What's Fujitsu thinking? The price difference for core duos and none core duos is small (50 bucks). I think (as what is suggested in other threads) they may be haveing core duo supply issues. I've been waiting for the E8110 for almost 2 months already.
