This review (link below) is in Korean but most of the pictures/charts are self-explanatory. The third picture (with the green oval) shows insertion of a rigid stick which prevents flexing of the screen despite the very thin bezel. In the temperature chart, the columns are 10, 30, 120 minutes of continuous DivX movie playing, using the power adapter. The rows are (from top to bottom) - keyboard left, keyboard right, palm rest left, palm rest right, and cooling fan. Conclusion of the reviewer - Light, good battery life, large screen, and high-performance. Good for people who need to be mobile but do not like the small screen and slow processor on ultraportables and also don't like larger notebooks due to weight. The test unit was running Vista Home Premium.

    Thanks for this link.

I hope the blanking plate just forward of the ODD is for a modem port. The travellers who might buy this machine may go to places where dial-up still rules.

Yep, that's where the modem jack goes (according to Jerry's review in NBR). May be Fujitsu omitted this in the Korean model.
