    I just pulled apart a n6460 notebook that was not working. I can confirm it uses a duallamp display. CMO N170C3-L01. This is a VERY good screen, one of the best I have seen on a notebook. Just thought I'd share.

    i have a N6470 i wonder if i have the same screen lol. and what is Duallamp display sorry my first notebook ever lol

    most notebooks have single lamp displays. Those will have 1 CCFL backlight while dual lamp displays will have 2 CCFL so basically it will be a lot brighter and better looking.

    so i take the n6470 and n6460 have the same as what you are refering to?
