In the spirit of testing everything I can get my hands on, here are my results on different memory speeds and configs.

    Hardware:
    - 2 x 256MB 333MHz Hynix (2.5 3 2 7)
    - 2 x 512MB 400MHz KingMax (2.5 4 4 8) ... no clue why they wouldn't run at better timings since they are rated for (2.5 3 3 8) [ :(]

I tried SiSoft Sandra. It returned the same bandwidth for dual 333 and dual 400 at around 3200MB/s. As for single channel: 333MHz: 2447MB/s & 400MHz: 2759MB/s

As for graphics' performance change it was almost none existant.
    3D Mark 2003
    333MHz Dual: 3472
    400MHz Dual: 3486

    Conclusion:
Not that much of an increase in performance, but since I was upgrading my total RAM anyway, the extra $15 that I had to pay for the 400MHz wasn't too bad. At least I got to test whether I can squeeze any more speed out of the N6010!
I wish the Bios had some extra memory control features. I would have liked to try to run the 400MHz modules at 333 since at that speed they should be able to achieve 2CL.
I expected more speed going from 333 to 400MHz. It might be chipset related or somthing ... no clue! [B)]

you can order from www.portableonce.com they will do the 7200RPM upgrade for you. Me I did the sxchange myself ... cheaper.

I am not clear at what you are comparing with what! Please explain it to me!

The N6010 is 533FSB because it uses a mobility P4 which don't exist at faster than 533FSB. They are way cooler compared to the regular P4s ... I run at 46C under normal usage.

what do you mean ddr11 ?!?!
