After two months of researching and learning about laptops and thinking i want a million differen models, i have finally done it! I have purchased my N3510! i almost went for the asus w3v, but the price made mt father say uh uh and i realized i actually will probly like the fujitsu more since i need a desktop replacement not a portable machine. i ordered it from portableone.com and the only specs i changed were the hard drive to the 7K60. i was thinking about changin the memory to 1 Gig instead of 512 but after posting here and thinking long and hard about it i decided i would upgrade later only if i absolutely need to. also, i went for the 3 year warranty instead of the 1 year. was this a good idea? it was my dads decision not mine. i cant wait to get it. my dad probly wont let me have it till graduation on june 7th but im hoping hes nice and will let me have it early![ :D]i cant wait! my first laptop! HOORAY!

So you finally went with the laptop you were originally looking at! Congrats!

Ya it was wise to do the RAM upgrade yourself. First you will do it only if you find that your need it. Second it will cost less than upgrading thru P1.

As for the warranty, the price at which P1 offers is very reasonable. And you will just feel safer having it! Repairs on laptops do cost quite a bit in case you ever need them.

Hey your dad might like the laptop and keep it for himself. Fujitsu's are pretty attractive. My mom just arrived an hour or so ago to visit me for a week. She was totally impressed by my N6010. Good that she is looking for a new thin and light, so my N6 is safe [ :D]

i stil think you should've went for the E series :(

in any case if you order from Portable one, it seems that at the moment, they'll have to order it from Japan (where it's Golden Week thus no activities at Fujitsu of Japan), where it'll then go to P1 for modification
