I accidentaly set a key loose when trying to grab something that was stuck under it, and I'm having problems putting the jacks and key back in place.

Does anyone know of an illustrated chart or something like that?

Dumb, I know, but this is so frustrating... :(

So the key is all the way off? It really should just pop back on with straight downward pressure.

It's all the way off, the springs separated.
On the dell it was easy to set them back in, but for some reason I haven't had any luck on the fujitsu....which only means the keys are more securely latched in the long run I guess.

There is a store in manhattan that will put the key back in, but it seems like such a stupid thing to go in for....

I did bring the laptop in to the store....the technician was reluctant at first, saying the keys are machine-set and we would have to replace the whole keyboard.

I kept insisting because it was only one key, so he finally produced a hook and reassembled the springs, free of charge.

I absolutely love this computer, it's as light as half a feather compared to my old Inspiron and works so smoothly...
