    Greetings Everyone!

Just wanted to see if any S6510/20 owners have installed Windows 7 yet. I just got a copy through my university and have installed the Professional 64bit version.

So far things are running smoothly and it loads up much quicker than Vista Business.

I've been successful in installing some drivers by using 64bit Vista drivers Fujitsu provides. In order to get the setup.exe to run proper you have to go through the compatibility mode ie: Right-click on “Setup.exe” “Properties” -> “Compatibility” -> “Run this program in compatibility mode for:” “Windows Vista”

Info came from this site: http://katastrophos.net/andre/blog/...on-fujitsu-u810/comment-page-1/#comment-22994

There' is definitely issues with the shock sensor and on screen brightness display. Both of which do not work at the moment. I talked with Fujitsu tech support and they mentioned drivers were still being work on but will be ready in late October for sure.

Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted as I try to get everything to work as properly as possible. Look forward to your responses especially those that are playing with Windows 7 also!

Preordered Win7 Pro (64) back when it was 50% off a few weeks ago. I installed the release candidate to get a preview. The only real hitch I noticed was that there aren't any graphics drivers for 64-bit W7. There is a beta driver for W7 32-bit, but that's it.

There may have been other issues that I didn't notice - I haven't actually spent much time w/ the release candidate. Waiting to wipe and install the final product.

Anyway, hopefully Fujitsu and S3 will get drivers out to customers w/ non-Intel graphics when W7 goes retail in October.

    Hi chris-m!

Your Fujitsu came with a non-Intel graphics card? Where are you from?
