I have a P7120 Lifebook. It is two years old. It is a triple boot system with three Linux distros, Ubuntu 8.04 being the primary one. I would llike to test some additional operating systems, but the hard drive is too small (60 GB). Therefore I want them on an external hard drive. I can install them there, but I do not know how to boot from there. In the BIOS setup I see the external hard drive, and even a USB flash drive, but when I hit F12 during the boot process, I see only:

    CD ROM drive
    +Hard Drive
    Floppy Drive

The + before the Hard Drive seems to indicate that there are more than one hard drives. So my questions is, how do I expand that + so that I see the external hard drive (and the USB flash drive) so that I can boot from them? I tried every possible key combination I could think of, but no success.
