I have a Fujitsu Siemens v5535 and when i bought it, it came with 2 cd's;
A recover disc and a drivers disc.
Can I format so i get a clean installation of Vista using the Vista Recovery Disc?
And how do I do it? I have backed up all my documents I want to my usb flash drive....

When you say clean installation, do you mean factory reset or a vlited version of Vista, with the drivers and tweaks injected before you start the process? I suggest the latter, but it will take you a bit more time to get everything setup before you can actually format. http://www.vlite.net/ will have more information regarding how, what, and why. If you want to do a factory reset, then just pop in the recovery dvd, the the driver cd when prompted. You will want to suggest the format to either 1 or 2 partition option in the installation menu.

I just mean use it as a vista installation disc.
So It will let me choose new users and all the programmes and files are gone that i've downloaded. As if its a new computer
I just want to format my laptop and then start again
