    Hey guys,
I am currently looking at a used S6210, mint condition, but comes with 40gb 4200rpm HD and only 256mb of ram.

Price is about 900$US. So this means major upgrading of ram and HD in the future.

I was wondering how is this laptop? I've read many reviews about this series but seems to have S6120? S6230..etc..

The main reason i returned my dell 630M and looked at Fujitsu was because of Screen quality (I want very very nice =) )..also weight.

Fujitsu seems to have it all and most important, how is the battery life?

Also I looked at P1 and was thinking of purcahsing the S2110 turion...but lots of reviews about the fan always on when opening programs..and heating. But seems to have good battery life and VERY well priced.

Please help me out choosing which one is better..and also opinions about the S6210..thanks SOOO MUCH!!

    =(

I think i read all the reviews about S6210 VS S2110..

The main thing is..The S6210 has been out for almost 2 years..and one review shows that the S2110 has a better and "brighter" screen...

and also I may be bothered by the fan constantly on as noted by 2 reviewers...i would enjoy something quiet.

    Any suggestions?

The Fujitsu S is widely regarded as one of the best thin and light notebooks on the market. $900 is a pretty good price if you ask me.

I used a S6110 for a long time, and actually just deployed it to my GF, pretty much the same computer ( it's a P3 1.3Ghz or something not P-M ) Anyways compared to the dells and such I normally use I'd highly recommend the Fujitsu S Series... this one is still kickin fine and it's ~3 years old now.

I guess my choice would be the USED centrino S6--- depending on the price..since a brand new can get a little pricey.

I would i could see these in stores..
i'm really interested in the S2110 becaues it's 64-bit but fan noise and always on?

I remember reading a post of a reviewer asking if anyone also had their fan " constantly on"
and that kind of threw me away +_+!
