    Help with S6120 please?

    Just purchased a s6120, but when i plug the adapter in, and turn it on, the fans turn on (i can hear them) but the tft does not light up at all, im well confused and this is my first laptop, here is a screenshot of the hud below. as you can see there is a key there or something and can you tell me if it is charging correctly. my email is [email protected] if you want to email me directly. :(

    SO you turn it on but can't see anything? Try using an external monitor and see what happens.

    The lillte key means that there is a security password set.

    who did you buy it from? ask them for the password, it might require the fingreprint reader. Maybe your machine is hot... see if you can return it to the seller, get your money back, and then turn them in.

    it may be the monitor connection to the motherboard. I have an s6120d and had the same problem

    rvehock is right. There is a security panel password set on the unit. You should ask the password from where you bought it from. If they can't give it to you it might be stolen.
