    Hi,
    I have a Lifebook S6120 that I bought in 2003.
The HDD appears to be dead so Im planning on changing it. The one I have now is a 60GB Toshiba.
    I have a few questions,
Is their a special type of HDD that I should be looking for since its 5 years old?
Can I buy a hard disk with more capicity or does it have to be 60GB?
And will I be able to restore the laptop using the recovery discs that came with it with the new HD?

    Thanks a lot

Do the Fujitsu Lifebooks come with hardware diagnostics on them?

No, it does not have to be a 60GB. Yes, the the recovery discs will restore your machine. I think it unlikely Fujitsu would supply a hard drive diagnostic. Some manufacturers offer them like Hitachi I know does.
