I am planning to buy a E8010 and in the specifications it is written that it has the ability of using a second disk or a second battery. What does that mean? Can the second harddisk be used as the internal battery of the notebook itself, i mean can this harddisk be read or written on by the notebook as the same speed with its original harddisk. And one more question. The notebook is sold with a 60bg (Smart) harddisk on itself. Can i change this harddisk myself or do i have to go the to service to made it changed (if changeable). Thank u for now.

There is an extra bay that can house a second battery or a second HDD if you would like. You can opt to leave that bay empty to have a lighter machine.

You can do that yourself. It's a bit of a pain to reinstall everything, but it can certainly be done.
